• Investing in Health: Evidence-Based Health Promotion Practices for the Workplace
  Helps employers establish health promotion practices in the workplace. Employers can effectively improve employee health by taking steps to control tobacco use, promote cancer screening and early detection, and encourage physical activity and healthy eating. Investing in Health translates evidence-based recommendations from the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force and the Task Force on Community Preventive Services into easy-to-follow action steps to help employers improve the health of their employees.

• Leading by Example
  Partnership for Prevention's Leading by Example CEO-to-CEO initiative is designed to leverage the workplace to improve health by promoting greater business involvement in health promotion and disease prevention.

  Provides real examples and strategies from employers of every size demonstrating the business case for investing in employee health from. Originally developed as a "CEO-to-CEO" publication, this is also useful to anyone who is interested in making a healthy workforce part of their core business strategy. Jointly produced by Partnership for Prevention and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
• American Heart Association's Start! Program
  Brings individuals and companies together to create a mutually beneficial culture of physical activity and health. Provides free tools to motivate more Americans to Start! walking.
• Priorities for America's Health: Capitalizing on Life-Saving, Cost-Effective Services Employer's Guide (PDF)
  Partnership for Prevention ranked the health impact and cost effectiveness of 25 preventive health services recommended by the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force Services and the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices. This guide offers key information employers can use to inform their medical plan design and other employee health programs.

  Provides the background needed to jumpstart the development of integrated health and wellness programs in the workplace. • Wellness Councils of America (WELCOA)
  WELCOA is a national non-profit membership organization dedicated to promoting healthier life styles for all Americans, especially through health promotion initiatives at the worksite. Organizationally, WELCOA serves as an umbrella, linking communities and coalitions together into a supportive network that includes locally affiliated Wellness Councils, Well City initiatives, Well Workplaces, and individual and corporate members throughout the United States.
